Vanilla, Coffee and Nut Jelly
Recipe using: Vanilla Beans
Ingredients:
- 4 Unflavored Gelatin (27 gr)
- ¾ cup cold water
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- 2 cups of milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 Vanilla Bean
- 1 cup of strong coffee, freshly made.

Let’s do it! / Procedure / Preparation
- Divide the unflavored gelatin into 3 equal parts, hydrate each with ¼ cup of cold water.
- Melt a portion of unflavored gelatin in a water bath; Blend this gelatin with the nuts, 1 cup of milk and half the sugar.
- Pour into a previously greased jelly mold and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Open the Piñeyro vanilla bean and scrape the seeds; in a saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk along with the vanilla beans and the rest of the sugar until the first boil is released; Remove the pod and let this mixture cool slightly.
- Melt another portion of the gelatin and integrate the milk and vanilla mixture. Chill and pour into the jelly mold, over the previous mixture.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Melt the last serving of gelatin and mix with the coffee, let it cool for 10 minutes and pour into the mold.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours and unmold.
